A couple months ago we had some of the first behind the scenes footage of the upcoming film by Jean-Luc Godard, Adieu Au Langage (Goodbye Language) which also will be his first ever 3D attempt.
Since then, some other pictures from the shootings were published showing the director on the shores of Lake Geneva in Nyon, Switzerland. You can see the footage below courtesy of the Swiss newspaper 24 Heures.
Finally today we have the first actual screenshots of the film that include the main protagonists Héloise Godet and Kamel Abdeli. The film is expected to premiere at next year’s Cannes Film Festival. Little is known about the film screenplay but according to one of the lead actors, Daniel Ludwig his role is about “a man who’s angry at his wife because she’s met another man on a park bench. Period.”
Hopefully we will have more updates in the near future, although Godard usually doesn’t offer any information on his projects.
